About the Event

A "ruck” represents the weight carried by service members in defense of our freedom. On May 23, we come together as a community to carry that burden in honor of those who gave everything.

6.2 miles. One purpose. No excuses.

Event Details

Date: Saturday, May 23

Location: Mount Prospect Village Hall
50 S. Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, IL

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM – Check-in (coffee provided)
  • 8:45 AM – National Anthem & Taps
  • 9:00 AM – Step-off

Distance: 6.2 miles (shorter option available)

  • Veterans & active-duty military
  • Families & community members
  • Walkers, runners, and ruckers
  • Strollers, bikes, and leashed pets welcome
